A sure sign that hockey season is around the corner is the fact that fall camp for the Battlefords AAA Stars took place this past weekend Aug. 18 and 19.
Those looking to make the Stars took part in practices and inter-squad games through the two days at the Civic Centre, with players divided into four teams: White, Blue, Red and Yellow.

The Stars’ first exhibition game is Sept. 9 against Saskatoon Blazers on the road; their first home exhibition game is Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m. against the Saskatoon Contacts.
