Pitcher Andrew Albers is enjoying pro baseball in Japan so much he has decided to stay for another season.

Albers announced on Twitter Friday that he will be going back for another season with the Orix Buffaloes of Nippon Professional Baseball, based in Osaka, Japan.

“Very happy to announce that I will return to Orix next season!

“I am truly grateful for the fans, the organization, and my teammates!

“Go Buffaloes!” Albers said on Twitter.

Albers signed with Orix this season after finishing up the previous years in the major leagues with the Seattle Mariners.

As of Friday, Albers had a record of 9-2 with Orix, with 78 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.90.
