The Battleford AA Barons continue their winning ways in the Centre Four hockey league. This weekend they picked up two more wins to move to 17 wins on the season – good for third place in the league standings.

The Battleford AA Barons continue their winning ways in the Centre Four hockey league.

This weekend they picked up two more wins to move to 17 wins on the season – good for third place in the league standings.

On Saturday the Barons picked up a 6-5 win at home versus the Saskatoon Screaming Eagles. Keanu Foulds had two goals, one on the power play, in the win. Bryson Monych’s goal with 6:11 left in the third held up as the game winner.

On Sunday, the Barons had their way against Warman, winning by a final count of 9-2. The Barons scored four unanswered goals in the first period; Foulds had a hat trick in the win.  

The Barons are back in action Feb. 7 against the Saskatoon Icehawks at Merlis Belscher Place.
