The Border City Blue Jays have wrapped up the championship of the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League.
The Blue Jays ended up sweeping the Lloydminster Twins in the best-of-three series. They took the first game 1-0 with Clayton Ermel on the mound, and then stormed to an 11-1 victory Tuesday to clinch the title.
Pitcher Colbey Field allowed only one run to seal the win.
Next up is provincials, happening in North Battleford Aug. 10 to 12.
