The Border City Blue Jays have wrapped up the championship of the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League. The Blue Jays ended up sweeping the Lloydminster Twins in the best-of-three series.

The Border City Blue Jays have wrapped up the championship of the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League.

The Blue Jays ended up sweeping the Lloydminster Twins in the best-of-three series. They took the first game 1-0 with Clayton Ermel on the mound, and then stormed to an 11-1 victory Tuesday to clinch the title.

Pitcher Colbey Field allowed only one run to seal the win.

Next up is provincials, happening in North Battleford Aug. 10 to 12.
