Training camp began Friday for the 2019-20 edition of the Battlefords North Stars. It was a combined main camp and rookie camp, with practices and games commencing Friday and continuing through Sunday at the Civic Centre. This is action from Rookie Camp Game 1 at the Civic Centre on Friday afternoon, where rookie team players showed their stuff on the ice for the first time. The annual Black and White game is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. The first North Stars pre-season game goes Monday at the Civic Centre against the Bonnyville Pontiacs.
