The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League is ready to party this summer. It was recently announced that the league, which provides some of the best entertainment in the wintertime, has partnered with one of province's most popular summertime events.

The SJHL and Craven Country Jamboree have partnered up, providing benefits for both sides.

Each community in the playoffs will receive prize packages from Craven Country Jamboree and some of the proceeds from the On the Road to Craven promotion tour with Williams and Ree will be donated to the local SJHL team.

"The SJHL is proud to partner with the Craven Country Jamboree," said Bill Chow, president of the SJHL in a press release. "We are particularly thankful that the largest tourist event in the province recognizes the importance of junior A hockey and the communities that we represent. This partnership will result in significant contributions being made to the SJHL Education Fund where many of our hockey players will benefit directly in terms of scholarships and post-secondary assistance."

At the show in July, each SJHL team will be highlighted in front of 25,000 people each day on the main stage. Four teams will be introduced per day with jerseys from each team presented to the music artists to sign. The proceeds raised through the signed jerseys will go towards the SJHL Education Fund.
