One of the Battlefords North Stars’ goaltenders has committed to play college hockey in the USA next season.
Chad Duran is going to State University of New York Canton where he will be majoring in Homeland Security.
Duran, who is from Littleton, Colo., joined the North Stars this season after spending time in La Ronge. This season Duran has played 14 games with a record of 8 wins and 4 losses, a goals-against of 3.30 and a save percentage of .893.
