The Battlefords North Stars held their annual general meeting Monday night and elected the board members for the upcoming Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League season.
Darren Huxley was named the team's new president.
Stew Demmans will be the governor once again.
Troy Slywka will be the vice-president as well as the alternate governor.
Shandon Reichert was named the second vice-president.
Karen Reid will be treasurer.
Debbie Prescesky will once again be the secretary.
Brett Payne, Kara Rosen, Justin Wappel, Victor Tomanek, Steven Nelson and Frazer Donahue are the directors.
The one new person named to the board was Tanner Daniels, but there is still a one-year term open.
On top of the elections the schedule was also discussed. It is now awaiting SJHL approval. The financial report was accepted and the 2013-14 budget was presented.
The team will continue the 40th anniversary logo contest until Aug. 15 with the next board meeting scheduled for Aug. 12.
