The Saskatchewan Rush lacrosse club has announced that the Feb. 8 game at SaskTel Centre is Hometown Spotlight: North Battleford night.
The Rush will host their rivals the Colorado Mammoth at 7:30 p.m. The promotion is part of the Rush’s Hometown Spotlight Series, presented by Finning, and coincides with ‘80s Night. The Saskatchewan band Streetheart will perform at halftime.
The club states in their news release that Mayor Ryan Bater will be in attendance and everyone from North Battleford is encouraged to come to the game.
The Rush also state in their news release that any teams or groups from North Battleford looking to raise money are encouraged to sign up for the Mosaic Fundraising Program. The club says that groups will receive $8 for every ticket sold by way of a personalized web-link to send to their database and social media. The Rush say volunteers won’t need to handle tickets or money, as the link collects each transaction. A cheque will be issued to each group afterwards.
