With the regular season winding down in the Sask. Prairie Hockey League, here are scores from what was a busy weekend around the league:

Two games took place Friday night with the Battleford Beaver Blues defeating Turtleford in one game by a 6-5 margin at home. Brent Salzl had a hat trick in the win for the Blues.

The other Friday game saw Radisson defeat Spiritwood 6-3. Jordan Gall and Ryan Rothenburger had two goals each in the win there.

In Saturday action in Radisson, the Wheatkings turned the tables on Battleford and beat them 6-5. Dana Derbowka and Karlan Gardipy each had two goals for the Wheatkings.

Also Saturday, the Meota Combines hammered the Spiritwood Timberwolves on the road 10-3. Brett Miller had a hat trick for the Combines, who also got two goals each from Daxen Collins and Bryce Gatzke.

The other games Saturday saw Turtleford beat Perdue 7-2, and Maymont over Glaslyn 9-8.

Going into this weekend, Meota now has a one-point lead over Battleford for first place in the overall league. Meota has 22 points, Battleford 21. Five games are on the schedule this weekend with Spiritwood at Maymont and Turtleford at Perdue on Friday, and with Radisson at Battleford, Turtleford at Glaslyn and Meota at Perdue Saturday.
