Timon Prexler commits to Maryville University

The Battlefords North Stars have seen another one of its valued players commit to a university hockey program. Timon Prexler has committed to Maryville Saints Ice Hockey of the American Collegiate Hockey Association for the upcoming season.

The Battlefords North Stars have seen another one of its valued players commit to a university hockey program.

Timon Prexler has committed to Maryville Saints Ice Hockey of the American Collegiate Hockey Association for the upcoming season.

Prexler is a defenceman from Coquitlam, British Columbia who played with the North Stars for 41 games in 2019 and 2020. During his time with the North Stars he had seven goals and eight assists.

After the suspension of the SJHL season Prexler played for Carolina Jr. Hurricanes Hockey of the United States Premier Hockey League. In seven playoff games with the Hurricanes he had two goals and four assists.

Prexler also has experience with the Campbell River Storm and the Bellingham Blazers, among other teams.
