There is news of another signing of a member of the Battlefords AAA Stars.
The Olds Grizzlys announced a letter of intent signing of Tye Scherger of the AAA Stars to join their club in the AJHL.
The Grizzlys announced the signing on their Twitter feed.
“We are excited to welcome Tye to our team and the Scherger family to Grizz Country,” the team stated.
Scherger has been with the Stars the last three seasons. Last season, Scherger had 10 goals and 16 assists in 43 games played with the AAA Stars.
The latest news comes on the heels of other recent signings of Stars players to junior A, with Luke Fennig signing with the Drumheller Dragons and Shayde Peterson committing to Flin Flon.
