It was a heartbreaker for the North Battleford Comp Vikings against Marion Graham on Oct. 4 at SMF Field in Saskatoon.

The Vikings lost 22-21 as a second-half comeback fell short. The Vikings were down 14-0 after the first half, but scored nine in the third quarter and 12 in the fourth quarter to almost pull it out.

Connor Neave, Jackson Geddes and Uthman Amusat each scored touchdowns for the Vikings. Amusat had 12 carries for 51 yards while Neave completed 10 passes on 23 attempts for 217 yards. Geddes had 89 yards on four pass receptions.

The loss drops the Vikings to 3-2 on the season. The Vikings play Bishop James Mahoney next on Oct. 10 for the final game of the regular season. Playoffs begin the following week.
