The North Battleford Comprehensive High School Vikings football team now know who they will be hosting next weekend in the SHSAA 3A provincial championship game.
In a semifinal contest held Saturday afternoon in Regina, the Moose Jaw league champion Yorkton Raiders edged the Regina league champion Greenall Griffins of Balgonie by a score of 24-22.
The Raiders will now travel to Beaver Lions Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 11 to take on the Vikings for a provincial title at 1 p.m.
The two sides have previously played on two occasions in the 3A championship game, with the Raiders coming out on top in 1990 and 1994 in a pair of close contests.
The Vikings last played fior a provincial title in 1995 when they defeated the Prince Albert Carlton Crusaders, while the Raiders last made it to the final a year earlier when they defeated the Vikings.
